Gate

A gate valve, also known as a
sluice valve, is a valve which opens by lifting a round or rectangular gate/wedge out of the path of the fluid.

Globe

A globe valve, different from ball valve, is a type of valve used for regulating flow in a pipeline, consisting of a movable disk-type element and a stationary ring seat
in a generally spherical body.

Non-Slam Check

Non-slam check valves are designed specifically for use in these situations. As their name implies, these valves close without slamming, meaning no excess pressure spikes are created. The disc of a non-slam check valve has an internal spring opposing the opening fluid flow pressure.
